Hormone Balancing Porridge for fertility

How do you nourish your body for optimal fertility and a healthy, balanced cycle?

Our ovulation is the most yang time of our cycle. The most heightened/ peak time of fertility potential. Just as spring goes into summer, this is what our energy can feel like monthly as we go into the phase of follicular to ovulation. Being aware of when we are most fertile, gives us the empowerment to choose what we would like to create with this potent energy. Wether wanting to get pregnant or create something more for ourselves in our lives, this is when we have the juiciest energy to express this creative energy!

What can we do to support and nourish this phase? One way I have enjoyed nourishing myself is through a blend of different hormone balancing herbs. I was inspired by the use of rice and herbs in traditional Chinese medicine. Rice is used to strengthen the body and enhance the complexion. A dish in Chinese medicine called, “Congee”, is a kind of rice porridge, adding more water to the process, allows for easy digestion, allowing important herbs to to be included that can help aid the body.
